Eileen championed the Santa Maria Philharmonic Society for years. She supported all its activities with expertise, leadership, and an indescribable joy and flair (those scarves and hats!). Her love of music and the community led her to contribute her time and talents whenever needed. From promotional video production, planning the annual meeting and fundraisers, and working to find and nominate new Board members, Eileen was always there with her bright smile, sense of fun and stalwart dedication to the SMPS and its mission.
After supporting the organization for years as a Board Director, Eileen was nominated and accepted the position of Board Vice-President for the Santa Maria Philharmonic Society in the 2019-20 season. She served in that capacity until resigning from the VP position in late 2024 due to health issues.
For her long term commitment to the Santa Maria Philharmonic and the Arts in Santa Maria, we are pleased to award Eileen the 2025 Santa Maria Philharmonic Legacy Award.
