Baroque Jubilee

December 2 @ 7:30 pm

Join the Santa Maria Philharmonic Orchestra chamber players and Maestro Nowak for a joyous celebration of beloved Baroque composers, a holiday season tradition in the Santa Maria Valley. The jaunty rhythms and ringing chords of Johann Sebastian Bach and George Friderich Handel represent the Germanic Baroque tradition in the program, while the singing violin melodies and sparkling sounds of Antonio Vivaldi and Archangelo Corelli exemplify the Italian style. The Santa Maria Philharmonic Orchestra’s own will perform the various soloist parts throughout the evening, showcasing the artistry and skill at home in the ensemble.

Program:

All baroque (Bach, Vivaldi, Handel, Corelli)
